About Kevin
Kevin has over 25 years cooking experience, in many styles of cooking and in many different settings. As a teenager he started working in bakeries, which then led to pizzerias, winery restaurants, movie sets, catering, teaching and eventually as a private chef for UHNW families. He has cooked for celebrities and pro athletes, catered large weddings, and run a very popular monthly pop-up dinner series out of his Montréal apartment, which highlighted 5 courses of elevated plant-based cuisine for an exclusive 25 person seating. He has worked in countries as diverse as USA, Barbados, Italy, UK, Uruguay and all across his home country of Canada.
His passion lies in the fresh and creative cuisines of Italy and other Mediterranean cultures; playing with fresh pastas, pizza Napoletana, and highlighting the freshest plants available. He consistently wows his clients and diners with the depth of flavour and savouriness that can be possible with plant-based food.
With all of his dishes, health and quality ingredients are at the core of his approach and he prefers to use whole ingredients rather than anything overly processed or pre-made. In fact, most of his favourite dishes to prepare involve only a handful of ingredients, with technique, time and temperature being the keys to their success.
Kevin is also certified as a holistic nutritionist, with a specialisation in plant-based nutrition.
